Benoît Cernin, naturally!
Having already won yesterday's Pro 1 class, Benoît Cernin did it again today in the Grand Prix Pro Elite Cheval TV, the 12th stage of the Grand National FFE AC Print circuit, riding Dynamite du Miral.
The rider from the Saône-et-Loire département is certainly in great form! After winning the Pro 1 of the Grand National on Wednesday with the same horse and then the 2-star competition with Finesse de Maugre, he has now won his third class in two days. In this Grand Prix with 1.50-metre obstacles, he qualified for the jump-off with 11 other pairings. By completing another clear round in a time of 35"89, he secured a victory that had eluded him since 2018. "The last time I won here was with Unamour du Suyer. I have to admit that I really wanted it today. So, it feels great to have won. Dynamite was with me 100%. I'm just delighted," said the day's winner.
Another local rider was second, Julien Gonin on by Girl Queen du Forezan (36''53). Quentin Marion finished third on the podium with J Donna Bella (36''62).
