Hippolia Start-up Prize by Equita: Ogalo on the road to success

3 November 2024

The Hippolia Start-up Village, organised in partnership with the Hippolia Cluster, France's only competitiveness cluster devoted to the equestrian sector, was celebrating a highly symbolic milestone this year, namely the 10th anniversary of the Hippolia Start-up Prize by Equita, for which the award ceremony took place this morning. At this 30th Equita Lyon, le Salon du Cheval de Lyon, it was finally the Ogalo platform that won first prize, receiving the majority of votes from both the professional panel of judges and the public. Ogalo is a platform that specialises in horse transport, putting owners in touch with certified carriers. Thanks to its first prize, the start-up has won a stand at the next Equita show, as well as €10,000 worth of advertising space in Grand Prix magazine, a partner of the competition. Second place went to In-Flux, a company that works in the field of horse protection and produces innovative thermoformable gaiters, which are lighter and provide better shock absorption than conventional equipment. This start-up also won the special Grand Prix Magazine prize. Third place want to Haizum, which makes innovative equipment for outdoor riding, designed in co-development with its community of riders.

"I'd like particularly to thank my team, who worked so hard to achieve this success, particularly by helping to promote our service to the large number of visitors who came to Equita Lyon this year. I'd also like to congratulate the other start-ups, with whom we forged great friendships during this really convivial event. And, of course, a big thank you to the carriers with whom we work: their presence is proof that the Ogalo concept makes sense and that professionals are ready to put their trust in our young company. Finally, I would like to thank all the professionals and the general public who voted for Ogalo: thank you for your encouragement," said an emotional Johnatan Héraudet, Chief Executive Officer of Ogalo, winner of the 10th Hippolia Start-up Prize by Equita.
