Lorenzo, and the importance of horse well-being...

28 October 2022

Lorenzo, nicknamed the "flying horseman" from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, will be back at Equita Lyon this year for the two "Sport and Show" evenings on 28 and 29 October. In a specially-designed show entitled 'La Maestria', this wondrous rider will be accompanied by other equestrian artists, acrobats and trainers, who are all renowned in their respective disciplines.

For Lorenzo, horse well-being part of his everyday world: "I try to have as much grassland and prairies as possible, not just so that I can make my own hay, but also to give my horses, whether they are active or retired, as much space as possible to roam in. I keep all my old retired horses. In fact, I have several that are over thirty years old. My horses live in groups, which need to be managed to ensure they get on, and in large open spaces, so they can enjoy a healthy diet based on home-grown hay."
